Fall Senior Checklist

Armuchee High School Senior Fall Checklist

  1. Complete a Senior Profile for Mrs. Stansell

  2. Schedule a Senior Conference with Mrs. Stansell for you and your parents...ASAP

  3. Start making plans for after graduation...NOW!

College?

Listen closely and check the school website, senior website, and Google Classroom for local scholarship information

  1. Seek scholarships

    • Check out the links on the senior page
    • Check business websites: Comcast, Church’s, Coca-Cola, NWGA Credit Union, etc

  2. Plan a campus visit

    • See Mrs. Stansell for a permission form
    • Must turn in form at least 5 days prior to visit
    • Limited to Seniors only
    • Limited to 3 per Senior year

  3. Request transcripts by signing the clipboard on Mrs. Stansell’s door

  4. Apply online early

  5. Take the ACT, SAT, ASSET, or COMPASS

Military?

  1. Speak with a recruiter

  2. Take the ASVAB (AHS Fall date TBA)

Workforce?

  1. Where?

  2. What is the application process?

  3. Do you need special training? (Mechanical Trades Institute for example)
